AXE & SLEDGE GDA+ // GLUCOSE DISPOSAL AGENT
Ultimate Nutrient Partitioning Agent
Glucose disposal agents (GDAs) are intended to help shuttle glucose to muscle as opposed to fat and improve your insulin sensitivity. Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas when blood sugar levels start to rise, typically after a meal. If glucose isn’t used for fuel, insulin directs the glucose to be stored as glycogen in either the liver, skeletal muscle, and/or fat.
Stored glycogen can then be used as a fuel source for future physical activity, such as running, weight lifting, and biking. Insulin, on its own, does a phenomenal job at regulating blood glucose levels. However, GDAs are intended to reduce the amount of glucose that enters fat tissue, while increasing liver and skeletal muscle glycogen levels.
But glucose isn’t the only thing that can be stored as fat...which is why we didn’t just create a basic glucose disposal agent.
Introducing GDA+ from Axe & Sledge...
GDA+ is much more than a standard glucose disposal agent, it’s an all-encompassing nutrient partitioning agent. GDA+ was specifically formulated to optimize the digestion and absorption of each macronutrient — carbohydrates, fats, and protein.
GDA+ contains various matrices formulated for specific purposes, such as:
- Fat Blocking Complex
- Carbohydrate Blocking Complex
- Enzyme Blend
GDA+ also has four patented ingredients, including:
- LipoSan Ultra®: a high-quality form of chitosan
- DigeSEB™: a proprietary blend of digestive enzymes
- GS4 PLUS®: a standardized form of gymnema sylvestre
- BioPerine®: a standardized form of black pepper fruit extract
GDA+ is an extremely versatile supplement that can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, if you’re attempting to lose fat, GDA+ can help improve your body composition by increasing your insulin sensitivity, alongside a caloric deficit. On the other hand, if you’re trying to gain muscle, GDA+ can help keep body fat levels lower during a bulk. Lastly, GDA+ is useful to take before a “cheat meal” to help direct nutrients to muscle as opposed to fat.
Expect better performance and pumps when using GDA+ along with meals that contain higher amounts of carbohydrates and fats.
